The passing is announced of Awintia Aguure, father of the Greater Accra East Regional Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Andrews Nelson Awintia.
Rev. Awintia also serves as the Lead Pastor of Bethel Family Chapel Assemblies of God, Community 22, Tema, and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the 2026 World Assemblies of God Congress.
The Late Mr. Awintia Aguure was called to glory on Tuesday, 12th May 2026, at Nafkoliga near Bawku in the Upper East Region.
In this moment of deep sorrow, we stand firmly with Rev. Awintia and the entire family, lifting them in prayer and trusting the Lord to strengthen and comfort them.
May the soul of the departed rest peacefully in the Lord.
