With a heavy and sombre spirit, I announce the death of my beloved father, Mr. Awintia Aguure. This painful loss occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, the 12th of May 2026, at Nafkoliga near Bawku in the Upper East Region.
The date for the final funeral rites is yet to be announced. However, as our beautiful traditions and customs will have it, it’s prudent that I avail myself for friends and sympathisers to come greet and commiserate with the family and me. In view of this, I will be available on the following dates and at the venue indicated for meet‑and‑greet and commiserations:
